Just wanted to let everyone know that Courtney has asthma and allergies. She had a sleep test done on July 16th they were checking to see if she has sleep apnea(stops breathing while she is asleep). I took her back to the pulminoligst(lung doctor I dont think i spelled it right) on August 5th she did have one episode where she did not breathe during her sleep test, but Dr. Franks thinks that since it was only one time that night that we do not have to worry about it right now.Courtney's test did show that she moves her legs all night and that could be why she does not sleep well. Dr. Franks said that she may be anemic(sp) because that can cause people to move alot while they are sleeping. Courtney was anemic(sp)when she was born and was put on iron drops everyday but we stopped using them when she was around a year old.She has a doctors appointment with her primary doctor on the 14th of this month so we can find out if she is anemic(sp).
Courtney has been on an inhaler, nose spray ,and claritin since her first visit back in June with Dr. Franks they have been working very well Courtney's cough and runny nose has done an 180. We are going to keep her on them but Dr. Franks wants to change the allergy meds from Claritin to Clarinex because she says Courtney has alot of drainage still in the back of her throat and this will work better. Courtney does have an emergency inhaler that she has had to use 4 times in the last month and half. She uses this inhaler in between the other one if she is having a hard time breaathing. Dr. Franks has given me an extra emergency one to have up at school in case she needs it. If everything goes well we do not have to go back and see her for 4 months.Other than that Courtney is doing very well.
Kelsey like always is doing perfect, she never has any major problems. Kelsey is loosing her other top tooth and one bottom one. She is going to have alot of wholes in there for a while.

I hope Courtney does well now! Sounds like the Docs are really working hard with her, and that's great. We need to see a picture of Kelsey when she loses her tooth :-) I like your Motto, it's a good to think about. Love You. Mom
