Dixie my 10yr. old lab

The girls and i decide today to bathe the dogs and boy did we get wet. We have a great dane (Dakota) and a chocolate lab(Dixie). The girls bathing Dakota is like me washing a horse. Any how we bathed Dixie and it was about 100 degress out so when she was done i put her in the house a little while later Courtney comes and tells me Dixie is shievering. I guess she got cold in the house so we wrapped her up in a blanket and she still did not stop i got worried and i could not think of anything else to do but blow dry her. So her the girls and i are blow drying the dog when it is 1oo out side but if you know Dixie she does not like to be outside for any amount of time. Long story short we got her warmed up and she has a nice blow dry look for the rest of the summer.:)

Courtney and Kelsey also did a very nice job washing the Surburban from the middle of the windows down you can really see how tall they are.

My blog is just mainly about the girls and I since Robert is either working or going to school. The girls and i are going to my Grandma and Grandpa's farm in Fredricksburg tomorrow we are all so excited Grandpa has 2 Longhorns, one bull ,2 dogs, and alot of goats.We should be up there by lunchtime and Grandma says she will have lunch waiting.Courtney is hoping for her wonderful ham that we had the last time we where there but usually what ever it is its good.I am hoping to have some pictures to put out here from tomorrow.

Sunday we are going to SeaWorld and Robert is coming so that will be really fun it is always better when daddy is there for the girls. Robert is the fun one and i am everything else pretty much. Hopefully i will have pictures from that as well.

My new motto : May we all find the good in everyone and not dwell on what we can not change.
( My mom will understand this the most she is the one that made me understand it well)
