Weekend of August 2nd

Well.. the girls and I were very busy this weekend. We started off Saturday with registering for school Courtney will be in third and Kelsey in first. They are not really looking forward to school they like to be home and on the go all the time. We then went to Fredericksburg which is about 1 1/2 hours away where my grandma and grandpa's farm is.They have alot of different animals there the girls got to see thier long horns, sheeps, goats, and the two dogs. Grandma and Grandpa's farm has not gotten any rain in a while so the creek beds are dry but that did not keep the girls from walking in them. Courtney found a crabs claw in there and Kelsey found a bunch of rocks.

Uncle Kevin and Aunt Carol where there also so we had a really good time. I think that is the first time we have seen everyone since Grandma and Grandpas Anniversary. Grandma made a really big lunch for all of us and it was very good. Although usually whatever she makes is great.

I do have a funny story about lunch Grandma said after we were done that she had dessert for us Kelsey got really excited for dessert and said she was done with her lunch.Grandma pulls out the dessert and it was fresh strawberries. watermelons, and cantilope it looked very good and Kelsey leans over to me and says"That is not dessert that is just fruit" you can tell she is only six she was waiting for the junk food.

On Sunday Robert,Courtney,Kelsey and myself went to Sea World we got there around 9:30 and did not leave until 5:00 it was a full day. We got to see alot of things and of course I forgot the camera. One of the shows had to be closed for a few days because two Beugla Whales had babies one was a week old and the other was only 4 days old I wish i would have taken my camera because i doubt we will ever get to see that again. We also got to touch dolphins Robert had our locker key on his braclet and the dolpins must have thought it was food or something because they were very attracted to it. At one point he must have had four of them around him and that is how we all got a chance to pet them.(and then again i wished for my camera)

Today the girls had horse riding leasons with Ms. Jennifer they go every Monday. Courtney is up to a full trott and Kelsey is learning to post with a slight trott. They got to ride Zipper today and he is fast. They usually ride Peewee and she has a smoother trott that is easier to ride. I love to go and watch them it is just amazing that these little girls can control such a beautiful gaint. It was really hot today so after their leasons they got to rinse off Zipper the mist also cooled of the girls.
